Natural Disasters
Since the beginning of time men and woman have dedicated their lives to studying why things happen. scientists have uncovered things that go against our oldest beliefs, that gods did not will disasters. with the rising occurrence of natural disasters more pressure is falling on the shoulders of scientists to find a way to not only understand but to lessen or even prevent the damage done by natural disasters. in this essay i will touch on how far things have came since the first man stated disasters happen naturally by our weather system or something happening in the earth. i hope to do so by showing research into things such as volcanoes tropical storms and earth quakes, in doing so i hope to not only find an answer for myself but also for all those who believe that the world is coming to an end because of the prophesy of 2012.

Luke--while this is interesting, I am not sure that your topic is focused for a specific, academic audience yet. The essay leaves me with questions about the purpose of your project, and the direction that you plan to take your essay. Have you define an interpretive research question yet? If so, what is it?
ReplyDeleteI think a little preliminary research on this topic would help. We might need to revise the topic/question even further, before you start the lit review!
